Sankoré Institute is committed to the improvement of African and African American communities, generally and the participation of these communities in STEM disciplines, specifically. This is not a mission that the Institute can accomplish alone. The support of likeminded partners and constituents is critical to ensuring that Sankoré Institute fulfills this mission. Sankoré Institute accepts donations of cash (or cash equivalents such as check money order, or credit cards) from individuals and organizations. Some donors will work for companies who offer matching gifts. In which case, your gift to Sankoré Institute may be doubled or tripled. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and spouses. The Institute welcomes donations of any amount to help advance our mission. If you are interested in making a cash donation, you may do so at the Sankoré Gift Shop. In addition to donations of cash, Sankoré Institute accepts gifts of equipment or supplies that may be useful for specific Institute programs or general Institute operation. Sankoré Institute benefits greatly from the insight, expertise, and skill of professionals in a wide range of disciplines. In-kind contributions allow professionals to support the Institute’s mission by lending their skill and expertise. Sponsor a Community Development Event
Another great way to help improve African and African American communities is to inform others of worthwhile efforts. To support in this way members of the Sankoré family periodically sponsor Community Development Events. These events can take the form of luncheons, banquets, and parties which can include anywhere from 5-50 attendees. Community Development Events are arranged in partnership with Sankoré Institute staff and are great fun for all involved. If you are interested in sponsoring a Community Development Event, contact Sankoré Institute. One of the staff members will contact you to provide more detailed information.
